RETREAT BAND
Our youth ministry hosts a wide range of events throughout the year that provide an opportunity for a youth band, including retreats, XLTs, Life nights, and special events. If your musical gifts will deepen the experience of prayer through song for those involved in any of these events, please contact Noah to discuss a potential role in an upcoming event.
5PM MASS BAND
A MEMBER OF THIS TEAM WILL...
exhibit a professional level of musical ability, and capacity to sing or play confidently in a quickly paced rehearsal setting
have a humble spirit and desire to use our gifts to glorify God and point others towards His heart
...without the expectation of personal praise from the congregation or desire to draw attention/glory to oneself
maintain healthy, respectful communication with the music minister and other band members
responsibilities
come prepared to confidently play the song list each Sunday for 3pm rehearsal and 5pm Mass
commit to showing up 7 out of 8 Sundays on average, or let the music minister know of conflicting circumstances
help tear down equipment efficiently after Mass
be willing to make time for an occasional Wednesday night rehearsal (advanced notice will be given)
